We were in town for my son’s basketball tournament and decided to stop in for lunch. Upon arrival the staff was very pleasant and attentive. The food came out fresh and hot! My hubby found out that they have their own beer and definitely couldn’t leave without a pack. Thank you for the hospitality. If we ever return to your town this restaurant will be on our list ?

This review is more for the beer, service and atmosphere. We only got the nachos for food. They were good, but nothing spectacular. I will say they were a bit different than your standard nachos, bringing in some of that Texas BBQ tang.

My dad and I each got a flight, which was fantastic! All the beers were really good, and we took a pack home.

Our server—I forget his name (he’s from Houston), but he was great! Super friendly and helpful.

They had indoor and outdoor seating. My dad and I were the only ones indoor… but even still the atmosphere was nice. I’d love to see this town have a little more life to it… but maybe it’s just this time of year, or day? Regardless, if you find yourself here definitely check out Hell or Highwater

After driving past Hell or High Water for several years and saying "we really should try that place"... we did! Really glad we did! We had a good meal. Mel was our waiter, and he was awesome... attentive but not intrusive! We started with a top shelf margarita which was a little heavy on the salted rim, but a quick wipe with a napkin fixed that. The cocktail was very good.

For food we tried the reuben sandwich (with sauteed spinach), the fried shrimp (with baby gold potatoes and sauteed asparagus), and the fish and chips. My first observation was the food came out so hot, we had to let it cool for a minute or too! Perfect, we like really hot fried stuff! The reuben was good, a bit of a twist on the traditional with provolone cheese and "home-made russian sauce." Tasty...

The fried shrimp were also good, breading just right, the tartar sauce was OK (we make our own at home, hard to beat). The fish and chips were the highlight... fish (cod) lightly battered, fried golden crisp, atop a mound of fries. We don't eat fries often, so they gotta be good... these were. Delicious! We passed on dessert. Only two choices: chocolate cake and cinnamon apple brown butter cake. The pictures looked good, but we were stuffed! Recommend Hell or High Water.

My husband and I stopped in here with our 7-month old during the Liberty Hill Christmas festival. We sat outside and were quickly served. Our server was very kind and checked on us often. We each got the Cowboy Burger, which was delicious. I also got an IPA, and my husband got a margarita. We were happy with our drinks, too. The atmosphere is relaxing and fun—great for families with kids, too! We’ll definitely come back.

Really good beers and delicious brunch all served up in a beautiful old building by fantastic people. It would be hard to have a better brewery experience. Texas brewing culture is awesome and these folks sure do it proud.

Wow! This place is amazing, they've got great beer on tap, the food is amazing, a full bar, and ser oce was great. If you haven't been it's well worth the time to check them out!

What a fantastic establishment! Ryan recognized us immediately which was really cool! Their drinks and food are freaking amazing!!! The staff is friendly and welcoming, the place is clean, nicely set up, and the patio was a beautiful little spot to enjoy dinner with my fiance while the kids enjoyed open gym right down the road at courage cheer! Can't wait to go back! Keep it up, y'all- what a wonderful establishment! Come check them out, it'll make your evening, friends!

First time for my wife and I to try this bar/restaurant. Fish and chips and the Texas chicken Alfredo were fresh and delicious. Atmosphere was warm, clean and inviting. I washed the meal down with a Red Sleigh Down.....tasty! Bar staff was friendly and provided great service. Free parking 1/2 block away. We will return and highly recommend!
