We booked our Auschwitz- Birkenau tour with Hello Cracow, which ended up being a great choice, because the visit itself is not only long but also both emotionally and physically challenging. So the last thing we needed to think/worry about was transportation.

The communication from beginning to end with Hello Cracow was excellent. We booked directly with them, with no third parties involved. The initial communication was via email and then we whatsapp. Final information was sent 3 days before via whatsapp. A lunch box was proposed but we did not take it, since we had a really good breakfast just before the tour.

On the day of the tour, we met our driver, Iza, at the arranged meeting point and time. Iza was great. She was a competent driver and kept us informed along the way.

When we arrived at auschwitz Iza let us have a 10 min break until she got our tickets from the museum. She accompanied us inside where we were assigned a tour guide by the museum.

When we finished our tour in Auschwitz, Iza was waiting for us in the bus. We had a 15 min break to use the toilet or eat a snack. Then, she drove us to Birkenau, where she delivered us to the same museum tour guide to continue our tour.

After birkenau we had another 10-15 mins to use the toilet, visit the bookshop and grab a drink. Iza was patiently waiting for us in the bus.

Upon our return to Krakow, Iza didnt mind dropping us off at a different point than our pick-up.

Overall, our communication and tour with Hello Cracow was very smooth and can't recommend it enough.

My husband and I took the Auschwitz/Birkenau tour with Hello Cracow. Our driver Iza was excellent and provided helpful information. The only negative in our booking was that the departure time was drastically changed from early morning to 1:45pm which cut into other plans we had and we were unable to go for dinner. So keep this possibility in mind when you book. It’s the only reason I gave 4-stars. I’m not sure if other companies do it, but I don’t think it’s very professional. Overall, the tour was fabulous. I believe everyone who travels to the area should take time to visit and learn about the WWII concentration camps and extermination of the Jews, Poles and many others. Definitely a heavy emotional day.

One final note, this is a long tour so you should bring food or order the packed lunch (which was excellent). There are a couple of vending machines but nothing other than snacks and beverages. You won’t have time to go into the restaurant at Auschwitz.

Driving from Krakow to Auschwitz and back was very easy!

I’m feeling lucky to have Artur as our driver (in a mini van of 8 people), because he is not only a professional and excellent driver but also a great individual.

My partner booked Hello Cracow Local Tours as part of my birthday surprise in coming to Cracow.

We were picked up from our hotel along with some other people within Krakow, the driver was really friendly. We were then driven roughly just over an hour to our first destination, Auschwitz with our tour guide Marta and our interpreter who’s name I cannot remember, but she was lovely as she loaned us her umbrella as it started to rain!

The tour of Auschwitz lasted just over an hour, baring in mind we were in a group of 30 people and the tour guide did very well in keeping everyone moving at a reasonable pace to make sure we weren’t holding any other tours up.

Once we had finished our tour, we had lunch (which I believe is an extra to add on but well worth it) which we had a 10 minute break and then we were driven to Birkenau which was roughly 15 minutes away.

Overall, I cannot recommend Hello Cracow highly enough, the tour was really good, as the tour guide gave us enough information but not an information overload, the timings were really good and the additional lunch box we had ordered was worth it.

I’d recommend doing the tour of Auschwitz and Birkenau with Hello Cracow. Thank you for an educational day out.

What an outstanding tour and such wonderful customer service. Even though we were late to the shuttle and missed it, they helped us coordinate with the driver and we took an Uber to meet the group at the main museum gate.

We started our tour exactly on time and wow, do they have this down to a science. This was a massive amount of people touring that day, headphones with audio connected only to your guide and the sheer immenseness of the grounds both in Buildings, and in Ruins sitting in an empty field, was overwhelming.

The radiant color of the brick and the mortar, the sparkling sunlight in a beautiful sapphire sky and the greenest grass with the occasional single daisy popping up... the beauty is still here and found and seen and loved, regardless. What you will see will change your life’s perspective.

Our on-site guide was a native Polish man, living close by, and speaks English fluently with a fantastic eastern European accent. Everything has been so perfectly preserved, it staggers the imagination of what actually happened here. 10/10 recommend this tour operator! Bring water to drink and opt for their sacked lunch.

Booked a Tour to Auschwitz with them via trip advisor. They contacted me on whatsapp a week before the trip and then confirmed the pick-up time and details 24 hours before. Everything on the day was well organised and on time! 9 seater clean van. Very informative and professional tour guide. We got Patryk and he was super knowledgeable and aslo gave tips on best places to eat and what to eat in krakow.
Hello cracow tours is highly recommended.
