More4U Tours is THE BEST!!! Jarek is absolutely phenomenal. He is incredibly professional, kind, and knowledgeable. While visiting Boleslawiec with friends, Jarek picked us up from our fantastic hotel (Hotel Piramida) and drove us in his comfortable van to Grodziec Castle just under 30 mins away. Jarek was so kind and welcoming and he made us feel like family right away. He gave us an informative tour of the castle and never made us feel rushed. He was happy to let us stop for pictures and answer our questions. After our tour, he drove us to a DELICIOUS local restaurant called Gospoda Gasthaus Kruszyna. Jarek gave us fantastic recommendations on what to order and we had a delicious Polish meal!

From the first contact with Jarek, the communication was professional and courteous. He worked up two tour options with different price points to meet our needs. Ultimately, we decided to go with the more expensive tour, and we are so glad that we made that choice. Jarek met us at our hotel a few minutes before it was time to leave. He let us know that he had chilled water bottles and some candy treats for us to enjoy during the day. His van was very clean and comfortable and his driving was impeccable. One of the things that impressed me the most was Jarek’s knowledge of Poland and his willingness to share his personal stories of growing up in Poland. He took us to various Polish pottery factories so that we could shop and look around. He explained to us in great detail how to determine the quality of pottery pieces. He also would make sure that the piece we were going to buy did not have any serious defects. When we went to the Christmas market, Jarek was eager to help carry our bag and shopping treasures. Jarek provides excellent tours. He met us on the train platform when we arrived from Wroclaw and helped us with our luggage. Our quick visit of about 4 hours was very productive by hiring Jarek. We got a factory tour and visited various polish pottery shops. We ate lunch at Gospoda Kruszyna, and the food was excellent. I had goulash and potato pancakes. Jarek dropped us at the train station to make our departure to Dresden. There is much more to do and see in Bolesławiec so we will visit again.

Jarek was a terrific tour guide, we had an excellent day pottery shopping and he negotiated discounts for us at many shops. In the end we saved than it cost for the tours. He taught us about how to check the pottery for imperfections and lock for quality markers, and also had wonderful resturant recommends. A great experience overall! I can’t more highly recommend Jarek and combining his tour with a stay at the Blue Beetroot BnB which just reopened!

Jarek was the perfect guide as we explored a local biodynamic winery. He is so knowledgeable about the area and made the trip so much fun! The excursion included a tour of the vineyards and winery, wine-tasting and an amazing dinner of farm-to-table delicacies.
